Water Play Park has been wonderfully designed for everyone to enjoy. The landscape architects have thought of everything when planning this space. The design allows for both fun and relaxation. The park features streams, ponds, winding paths, plenty of green space, islands and much more. Selected areas feature a colourful rubber finish underfoot. A botanical garden wraps around the waterplay stream. For the kids, the highlight is the water jets, leaping out of the ground. Stretches of shallow water that toddlers will love. Watch the smiles on the children’s faces as they play and explore. Mildura’s Water Play Park is a free public facility so that is an added bonus!
Pop in for a quick play or take your time and set yourself up for a spot of relaxation. Grab one of the picnic tables. Take advantage of the barbeques provided. Throw a rug under the shade of a tree. There are plenty of shaded areas to enjoy. Pergolas and bench seats are dotted around the park. Showers and toilets are available. You will find water fountains too.
Operating hours are 10am- 5pm daily. During daylight savings, hours are extended 10am – 9pm. Water Play Park is not supervised. Refer to Mildura Rural City Council regarding safety information. The water jets are programmed to come on automatically and operate every day.
